Six more killed in Karachi

KARACHI: Six people including two activists of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and People’s Aman Committee, were killed in the city, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 02 November, 2012.

Accordint to sub-Divisional Police Officer Rao Mohammed Iqbal, two men riding a motorcycle shot a MQM activist on Pir Mehfooz Road in Jaffar Tayyar Society, Malir City. While an activist of People’s Aman Committee was also shot dead in the Nadi Kinara area of Ghausia Colony, Jamshed Quarters.

According to Pak Colony SHO Abdul Waheed Awan, a man was found shot dead near a mosque in Old Golimar in the morning. Likewise, the bullet-riddled body of a man was found on Bakra Piri Road in Pak Colony in the morning.

In another two incidents, two men on a motorcycle shot dead a person in Khwaja Ajmer Nagri. While a man was shot dead in Korangi Industrial Area in the morning, said Sub-Divisional Police Officer Tahir Khan.
