Karachi violence: Trader, cop among five shot dead

KARACHI: A trader and a policeman among five other people were shot dead in separate incidents of target killing in the city on Wednesday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 24 October, 2012.

Police said that two men riding a motorcycle gunned down a person near Cheel Chowk in Kalakot police remit in the night.

SHO Jawed Baloch told Dispatch News Desk (DND) that unidentified armed men kidnapped Head Constable (HC) Zahir Khan and later tortured him to death. His body was recovered from near the Hub Chowki bus stand, Lea Market, in Kalakot police limits.

In another incident, one person was shot dead at Nagina Hotel, Jackson Market, in Jackson police limits in the evening

An activist of Ahly Sunnat Wal Jamat was gunned down in Pak Colony area in the evening. While, the bullet-riddled body of an unidentified man was recovered the bushes in Chota Goth at Goondah Pass in Manghopir police limits.
