According to social media reports Pakistan Idol has been sued by TIPS INDIAN music brand for using licensed Indian musical content. As per initial reports Fremantle Media has been served with legal notice from India. Unauthorized used of Indian content was been witnessed in Pakistan Idol which is however a violation Tips Copyrights which makes it liable for action.

Tips India sued and demanded  a fine of  USD 20,000 ( PKR 2,143,500) ‘per song per day’ for using unauthorized content and violation of the legal rights of Tips  to be payed  within  seven days. Keeping in mind that the notice has been severed from within  Pakistan, from the license holders of Tips in the country ‘Digital Entertainment World’.
