PARACHINAR: Militants on Wednesday allegedly shot dead a noted tribal elder Shaukat Ali Turi in Sadda town in lower Kurram Agency, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 17 October, 2012.
According to tribal sources, Shaukat Ali Turi was waiting at an auto-mechanic shop in Sadda Bazaar to get his car repaired when unidentified militants sprayed him with bullets. He sustained serious injuries and was shifted to the Agency’s Headquarters Hospital in Parachinar where he succumbed to the injuries, the sources said.
