QUETTA: Two back-to-back explosions took place at Double Road in Quetta on Wednesday evening, killing at least four persons and injuring 19 others, police and rescue sources said.

Police said that first blast occurred near an office of the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) on Quetta’s double road.

The bomb disposal squad officials said 7-8 kilograms of explosives were used in the bomb which was planted in a cycle.

After a short while the second explosion took place when CNG cylinder of a car parked nearby exploded.

Several vehicles and shops were also damaged due to the blasts.

The dead and injured were shifted to the Civil Hospital for treatment. Police cordoned off the area and started their investigation.
