QUETTA: Some unknown motorcyclists hurled a hand grenade at a vehicle belonging to the Balochistan Constabulary in the provincial capital on Tuesday that left 11 persons injured.

The incident took place when the vehicle was travelling on Mastung Road in the Quetta city.

The injured, which included five constabulary personnel, three children and three others present in the vicinity, were shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) and Civil Hospital for treatment.

Security forces reached the attack site and cordoned off the area. While a search operation was conducted in the area as a probe into the incident went underway.
