ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has decided to a give a relief of two rupees per litter in the prices of Petrol and High Speed Diesel‚ which were proposed to be increased by 6.69 rupees and 6.12 rupees per litter‚ respectively. Prices of Kerosene Oil and Light Speed Diesel were also increased.

A Finance Minister Ishaq Dar spokesman said the increase in prices of petrol and high speed diesel will now be Rs. 4.69 and Rs.4.12‚ respectively.

Spokesman said the government will pick the difference of two point one billion rupees per month on this account.

Prices of Kerosene Oil and Light Speed Diesel were also increased by 2.14 rupees and 2.81 rupees‚ respectively.
