KARACHI: At least 91 suspected people have been arrested by police during overnight search operations in different areas of the city on Friday.

According to details, the city police conducted search operation in Pirabad and arrested 80 suspected people. According to police sources, the operation was conducted in Haqqani Mohalla on a tip-off regarding the presence of suspected people in the area.

Meantime, police carried out a search operation in the city areas of Baloch Colony and Clifton. Nine suspected people have been apprehended from the city area of Defence View.

A TT pistol and drugs were recovered from one of the miscreants.

Meantime, two other miscreants were taken into custody following a police encounter in Kaneez Fatima Society area of Surjani Town. According to SP Chaudhry Asad, firearms were also recovered from the miscreants.
