Five killed including a doctor in Balochistan

QUETTA: Five persons including doctor were gunned down in various incidents of violence in Balochistan, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 07 October, 2012.

According to sources, a doctor was killed in Mastung on Saturday night when unidentified gunmen riding a bike opened indiscriminate fire on him.

A land mine blast occurred at Qallat in district Dera Bugti killing one person while injuring another. While two police personnel were killed and three, including a SHO, were injured in firing by unknown armed men who targeted a police van in another incident at Qallat.

In another incident, one person was killed in a firing incident on Saryab road in the provincial capital.  Likewise, unidentified gunmen attacked a Nato container and injured its driver and cleaner in the Mastung area.

Meanwhile, a gas pipeline was blown up by some unknown persons in the area of Naseerabad causing suspension of gas to several areas.
