KARACHI: At least one person was killed and 16 others injured when unknown miscreants lobbed a hand grenade inside an Imambargah in Karachi’s Lahdhi area on Thursday night.

The explosion occurred in Sector-2 of Majid Colony in Landhi area of the city on Thursday night.

The injured were shifted to Jinnah hospital, where according to doctors, three injured persons were in critical condition.

Rescue and security officials reached the site while law enforcers cordoned of the area and launched an initial investigation into the incident.
