LAHORE: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) secretary Asif Bajwa has resigned from his post after the failure of the national hockey team to qualify for the next World Cup.

Former Olympian Rana Mujahid Ali, who was the associate secretary, will take his place as new PHF Secretary.

Bajwa said that he believes that new secretary Rana Mujahid will take the Pakistani team to ‘the next level’ and hoped that they are able to meet the expectations of the media and the nation.
