CAIRO: Egypt’s interim Interior Minister Muhammed Ibrahim on Thursday survived a terror attack as his convoy was targeted while passing through a Cairo street, however at least 10 persons were injured in the violent incident.

The blast occurred at around 10:30 am (0830 GMT) near Ibrahim’s house in the capital’s Nasr City area, security sources said, adding the vehicle was parked in the street.
