Senior geologist killed in Quetta

QUETTA: Unidentified gunmen killed three people including a senior official of the Geological Survey of Pakistan at Sariab Road in Quetta on Wednesday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 26 September, 2012.

Police said assailants opened fire at a shop near Burma Hotel on Sariab Road severely wounding two people, later they passed away while being transported to the hospital.

Likewise, a deputy director of Survey of Pakistan was on his way to office when unidentified assailants killed him early on Wednesday morning at Sariab Road area of the city.
