KARACHI: Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon said on Thursday that the cases lodged against criminals involved in the Lyari gang war would not be withdrawn without the consent of Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s (MQM), Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.

Talking to media persons outside the Sindh Assembly, Memon said that the MQM was PPP’s coalition partner and would remain so.

Earlier, MQM Sindh Assembly parliamentarians staged a walkout during the in-camera session in protest to the withdrawal of the cases against the criminals and called an emergency meeting of its Rabita Committee.
