ISLAMABAD: A delegation of Chinese Power Investment Corporation (CPIC) called on Pakistan Investment Board (PIB) Chairman Zubair Umar in Islamabad and expressed keen interest over launch of four power production projects in Pakistan.

According to sources, amongst those power projects are included a 900 megawatts’ coal power project in Sindh, 660 megawatts’ power project in Lahore, and 300 megawatts’ project in Bahawalpur.

On the occasion, the Chinese delegates said that they could install 500 to 1000 megawatts’ wind power projects as well.
