West Indies scored 153 for 7 in allotted 20 overs.
Pakistan scored 158 for 8 in 20 overs.
For Pakistan Umer Amin with 46 and Shahid Afridi with 47 runs were the main scorers.
Shahid Afridi was declared man of the match.
The second T-20 will be played at the same venue on Sunday.
