Kiev: President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived in Kiev on July 27 to participate in the celebrations of the 1025th anniversary of the Baptism of Kievan Rus’. July 28.

Putin and Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych will visit Sevastopol, where they will take part in the celebrations on the occasion of the Navy. Putin awarded Ukrainian orthodox tserkvov the Moscow patriarchy.
