Quetta blast leaves 2 dead

QUETTA: Death toll in the car bomb blast in the provincial capital that took place on Tuesday has risen to two while 13 other pedestrians, including women and children, were injured, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 22 August, 2012.

According to polic sources, unknown men after fitting an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) inside an Alto car had parked it in front of the Akbar Mosque in Musa Colony.

“The bomb-fitted car was remotely detonated when a patrolling vehicle of a law-enforcement agency passed by,” police said.
