It should be mentioned here that Murad—a taxi-driver—was shot dead in Rangers gunfire in Gulistan-e-Jauhar area near Kamran Chowrangi. The earlier reports showed that the driver, who was with his wife and son, was killed by the Rangers after he did not comply with the Rangers who signaled to him to pull over.

However, the taxi-driver’s widow alleged that her husband was shot dead after the Rangers men forced him to come out of taxi.

Earlier, the accused paramilitary troop Ghulam Rasool was arrested. According to police sources, the arrested personnel’s SMGs have been taken away by the police.
