Islamabad, Pakistan: Supreme Court Bar Association, Pakistan Bar Council, Punjab Bar Council, KP Bar Council, Balochistan High Court Bar Association, and Sindh High Court Bar Association have rejected the strike in a joint statement.
In their separate statements, they said:
We, the elected representatives of the legal community, stand with the independence of the judiciary, Statement We completely reject the call of the anarchic people on the occasion of the Judicial Commission meeting. Some so-called mischievous elements in the legal community want to create chaos for their nefarious purposes. We, the elected representatives, will fully support the action of the Judicial Commission. The 26th Constitutional Amendment has been passed following the law.
