LAHORE, Pakistan: The Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday visited the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and reviewed the development work.

In a media briefing, the Chairman PCB said that the basement of the Gaddafi Stadium will be completed by September 30.

The Rawalpindi Stadium will need to be completely rebuilt, and a new stadium similar to the one in Dubai will be constructed in Islamabad.

Refuting false news report, Mohsin Naqvi announced that the upcoming England series will indeed be held in Pakistan.

There will be no Test match against England in Karachi; instead, the Test Series will take place in Rawalpindi and Multan, he said.

The PCB Chairman also said that he has met with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Secretary Jay Shah on several occasions. He said that the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting is scheduled for September 8 and 9. He will not be able to attend the meeting but Salman Naseer will represent him.

The meeting will finalize matters regarding the new President, he said.
