Government of PakistanMohsin Naqvi commends security forces for thwarting Khawarij attack in Mohmand

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister of Interior Senator Mohsin Naqvi has commended the security forces for thwarting a terrorist attack by the “Fitna al-Khawarij” group on the Frontier Corps Headquarters in Mohmand District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

In early hours of September 6, a group of four Khwarij tried to attack a FC Headquarters in Mohmand; however, their attempt to enter the camp was effectively thwarted by the security forces personnel, and resultantly all the attackers were killed.

In his statement on Saturday, the interior minister said that the security forces foiled the nefarious intentions of the cowardly enemy who attempted to attack in the darkness of night.

The brave soldiers sent four terrorists of “Fitna al-Khawarij” to hell, bringing them to a disgraceful end, he said.

“I applaud the security forces team for foiling the attack and eliminating the terrorists,” Mohsin Naqvi said.

The interior minister reiterated that Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eradicate the unholy presence of the “Fitna al-Khawarij” terrorists.

The minister said that the courageous soldiers of the security forces have always acted promptly to thwart terrorist activities, which the nation can rightfully be proud of.
