ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: In a tragic bus accident in Yazd City of Iran, at least 35 Pakistani pilgrims lost their lives and further 18 suffered injuries.

Reportedly, the accident occurred when brakes failed and caused the overturning of the bus.

Most of the passengers belonged to Larkana, Ghotki and other Cities of Sindh.

Meanwhile, the Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi expressed deep sorrow and regret over the death of 35 Pakistani pilgrims in the bus accident in Yazd.

The interior minister expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the deceased pilgrims.

“Praying for the speedy recovery of the injured. We are deeply saddened by the loss of precious human lives in the bus accident in Iran,” he said.

Mohsin Naqvi said that all sympathies are with the families of the deceased and the injured. He said that we share the grief of the families of the deceased.

“Allah Almighty grant patience and fortitude to the bereaved families,” he prayed.
