Govt summons schedule for presidential election from ECP

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has summoned the schedule for the presidential election from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP).

President Asif Ali Zardari’s tenure is expiring on September 9th and a presidential election schedule needs to be issued 30 days prior.

The ECP will issue the schedule for the presidential election on August 9th.
