LAHORE, Pakistan: The Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz is set to launch the “Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar” Program on August 14, a housing scheme aiming to provide residential solutions for low-income families.

According to the details, a meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, in which three models of Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar Program were approved.

In the meeting, Maryam Nawaz directed to include living room in the map of model houses while preventing service charges from the borrowers on plots.

The Chief Minister Punjab also directed to introduce toll-free numbers for the convenience of the people.Apni Chhat Apna Ghar Program: No more Service Charges from borrowers

While giving a briefing in the meeting, it was said that the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) will develop a special portal.

The aspirants will be able submit applications online. The applicants willing to build houses on plots up to 5 marla will be able to get interest-free loans.

It should be remembered that Rs 9,889,600,000 was approved by the Punjab government for the program for the people.
