ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has condemned the firing incident at a security check post in Upper Orkazai.
In a statement on Thursday, the interior minister paid tribute to Sepoy Ayub who was martyred by firing and expressed heartfelt sympathy and condolence to his family.
Mohsin Naqvi also prayed for the speedy recovery of constables Javed and Rehmat as well as polio worker Afaq who suffered injuries in the firing by terrorists in a Swat area.
The interior minister said that Sepoy Ayub set a high example by sacrificing his life in the line of duty. He said that our brave soldiers have made history by sacrificing their precious lives in the war against terrorism.
The minister also said that the war to eradicate terrorism is, in fact, the war of Pakistan’s survival. He said that the war aims at to ensure a peaceful and safe Pakistan will continue until the end of the last terrorist.
