ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif have expressed good wishes for the early recovery of the US President Joseph R. Biden who has tested positive for COVID-19.
In a message on Thursday, President Zardari conveyed his sincere hopes for President Biden’s good health and well-being.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif also expressed good wishes for the US President Joe Biden.
In a post on social media platform X, the prime minister wished for Joe Biden’s swift and complete recovery from COVID.

The US President Joe Biden has tested positive for COVID-19, forcing him to cancel his presidential election campaign.
According to the White House Spokesperson, Joe Biden is experiencing mild symptoms of COVID-19, he will continue to carry out all of his duties from home during self-isolation.
President Biden is vaccinated, boosted, and he is experiencing mild symptoms following a positive COVID-19 test.
He will be returning to Delaware where he will self-isolate and will continue to carry out all of his duties fully during that time.
