LAHORE: Important decisions were taken about the functioning and management of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) at a meeting of its Governing body in Lahore on Wednesday.

The acting Chairman of the Board Najam Sethi presided.

The issue of the re-constitution of the selection committee was also came under discussion.

Later‚ talking to the media‚ Najam Sethi said that Islamabad High Court has empowered him to make all the decision of the cricket board.

He said that he cannot do anything which is unconstitutional and illegal.He said that the selection committee was dissolved at the advice of chief selector.The Islamabad High Court has ordered him to make the board democratic.

He said that Iqbal Qasim has been included in the Domestic Cricket Committee.

He said that he is facing pressure regarding the formation of new selection committee.

Najam Sethi said that the board has expressed full confidence in my and asked me to visit West India to observe the performance of the team and functioning of the team management.
