KARACHI, Pakistan: The Country’s total liquid foreign reserves stood at US$ 14.31 billion by May 24, 2024, registering a further reduction of US$ 270 million.

The latest data released by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) showed that the total liquid foreign reserves held by the Country as of May 24, 2024 were US$ 14,315.4million.

The statistics showed that the Central Bank’s own reserves also fell by US$ 63,3 million to be recorded at US$ 9.09 billion.

The reserves held by the SBP stood at US$ 9,093.7 million in the week ended on May 24 whereas previously they were US$ 9,157.0 million.

Whereas the Commercial Banks had foreign reserves of US$ 5,221.7 million, showing a decrease of US$ 206.7 million.Pakistan’s foreign reserves further fall by $270 million
