ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday approved the former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Founder Imran Khan’s bail application in the £190 million Case.

The Court asked Imran Khan to submit a surety bond of Rs 1 million in order to secure bail.

However, the former prime minister will not be released from Rawalapindi’s Adiala Jail since his sentences in the Iddat and Cypher Cases are yet to be suspended.

The decision to grant bail to Imran Khan was announced by a two-member bench, comprising the IHC Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri.

They had reserved the verdict a day ago after the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Prosecution Team and Imran Khan’s Counsel Sardar Latif Khan Khosa concluded their arguments.
