PTI ensures US Ambassador for not raising Palestinian issue publicly

Islamabad, Pakistan: Donald Bloom, the US Ambassador to Pakistan, had an important meeting with the Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly, Umar Ayub, in which important issues including Pakistan-US relations were discussed.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, Asad Qaiser, and Information Secretary Rauf Hassan were also present in the meeting that lasted for more than an hour. When the American Ambassador was leaving the chamber after the meeting, when asked by the media persons about the meeting, he refrained from answering any question and left the Parliament with a smiling face. PTI insiders claim that the meeting was “excellent” and PTI ensured the US Ambassador that the party would not raise Palestinian issue politically and publicly in the country.

It may be mentioned that the US stands with Israel and is trying to control public reaction against the Israeli genocide in Gaza. The US is controlling public protests against Israel globally and cracking down on students and teachers in several universities in the United States and the European Union (EU) is also following the same path.
