ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerzhan Kistafin met the Minister for Defence Khawaja Muhammad Asif in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Talking to the Kazakhstan’s ambassador, the defence minister said that Pakistan values its close friendly relations with Kazakhstan which are based on mutual goodwill and understanding to bring the two Countries further close to each other.

Khawaja Asif highlighted that Kazakhstan because of its geographic location and its abundant resources, is a key Central Asian State and also an important player on the international stage as well.

The visiting dignitary acknowledged the existing scope and scale of cooperation and desired further cooperation and collaboration in the field of defence.
