CrimePTI attacked law enforcement personnel in Lakki Marwat and Karak

Peshawar, Pakistan: Although PTI claims that it has been under state crackdown since the May 9, 2023 mutiny but several journalists in Islamabad believe that PTI still has support and protection from unseen powers and such claims get moral justification from events that took place in Lakki Marwat and Karak where massive firing, vandalism, violation of laws conducted during PTI rallies left unchecked and despite the video of the event went viral, no action has taken so far against criminals involved in the incident.

It is pertinent to mention that the deceased candidate Rehan Zeb Khan from Bajaur
who had been shot dead recently in NA-8 had been demanding protection from PTI’s candidate but nobody helped him and then he was killed in daylight in a local market.

After his murder, PTI started claiming that he was the candidate for PTI although
Rehan Zeb Khan through his social media messages a day before his murder categorically confirmed that he was not given a PTI ticket and decided to contest the election independently in his message expressed that his life was in danger and claimed that the PTI candidate from NA-8 would kill him. Alas neither the local administration nor the ECP took notice of his fears and then he was killed unchecked.

Now the viral videos confirmed that two PTI rallies, one in Lakki Marwat Constituency 106-PK and the second in Kirk 97-PK and 98-PK were heavily fired and vandalized by PTI candidates but no action has been taken so far against PTI candidates.

In the video, it can be seen that the miscreants are standing on the stage and firing. The firing incident took place in the meeting of Sher Afzal Marwat. On the other hand, the rally in Kirk was led by PTI leaders Shahid Khattak and Sajjad Ahmed. In both incidents, enraged, PTI workers pelted stones at the law enforcement agencies and even smashed vehicles of Police without any resistance from the local authorities.

In such circumstances, PTI opponents, particularly candidates of ANP are raising voices that PTI goons would act on February 8, 2024 polling day as they behaved on May 9, 2023. ANP local leaders expressed their fears that PTI had support from unseen powers and no actions were being taken against PTI even after the murder of Rehan Zeb Khan in Bajaur.
The angry PTI workers surrounded the police vehicles and pelted stones heavily. Due to this many policemen got injured. Moreover, PTI workers stormed police vehicles, in the video it can be seen that some people are angrily damaging the vehicles.
