NationalANP goons torture PTI’s Fazal Khan who filed petition against Aimal Wali

PESHAWAR, Pakistan: The Awami National Party (ANP) workers on Thursday subjected the former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA Muhammad Fazal Khan to torture in the premises of the Peshawar High Court (PHC).

The incident occurred after the hearing of Contempt of Court proceedings on a petition of Fazal Khan against the ANP leader Aimal Wali Khan ended, the ANP workers mishandled and tortured the petitioner.

The ANP workers also chased Fazal Khan while he was fleeing. Eventually the police escorted the petitioner to the outside of the PHC.

It’s worth mentioning that PTI’s Muhammad Fazal Khan defeated the ANP President Asfandyar Wali Khan, the father of Aimal Wali Khan, in NA-24 Charsadda-II in 2018 general elections by a margin of 23,787 votes.

Earlier during the proceedings conducted by the PHC Chief Justice Mohammad Ibrahim Khan, Aimal Wali Khan sought apology from the Court for his recent derogatory remarks against the Chief Justice PHC.

“I respect the Court and could not even think about Contempt of the Court,” Aimal Wali said.
