RAWALPINDI, Pakistan: The Namaz-e-Janaza (Funeral Prayers) of soldiers – who embraced martyrdom in Mir Ali area of North Waziristan District on the night of 12/13 November 2023 – were offered at District Bannu.

Shuhada were laid to rest with full military honour.

Senior serving military officers, relatives of Shuhada and large strength of locals of the area attended the funerals.

The Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that these sacrifices strengthen our resolve to stand resolute and committed to eliminate the menace of terrorism from the motherland at all cost.

Earlier on the night 12/13 November, a fire exchange took place between troops and terrorists in Mir Ali.

The troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location resultantly one terrorist was sent to hell. However, during intense fire exchange, Sepoy Abdullah (25 years old and resident of Mardan) Sepoy Muhammad Sohail (19 years of age and resident of Tharparkar), having fought gallantly, embraced Shahadat.
