ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Minister for Law and Justice Ahmad Irfan Aslam met the Vice-Chairman of Pakistan Bar Council Haroon-Ur-Rashid on Friday to discuss the issues faced by the Pakistan Bar Council that hinders the smoothing functioning of the body.Law Minister assures Lawyers’ welfare

The law minister stated that welfare of lawyers is amongst the caretaker government’s priority and it will be ensured that no development work is decelerated.

Ahmad Irfan Aslam reiterated that young lawyers need to be educated and trained in order to raise professional standards even higher.

The construction and refurbishment of bar rooms and technical facilities will improve the working environment for lawyers, the Law Minister pledged.

The Pakistan Bar Council was ensured to be provided with sufficient funds that will promote the development works, which will ultimately increase the efficiency of this body.
