ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Navy got second position with 2675 points while Punjab stood third with 2312 points.

Pakistan Army clinched the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy securing 6464 points in the 32nd National Games that concluded in Islamabad on Thursday.

Around 2000 athletes‚ including 500 females from across the country participated in the event.

The national games featured 29 competitive male events and 11 female events.

The closing ceremony was held in Islamabad on Thursday evening during which prizes were distributed among the winners of different events.

Minister for Inter Provincial Coordination‚ Riaz Hussain Pirzada was Chief Gust on the occasion.

Addressing the ceremony‚ he congratulated participants and the organizers of the national games.

He expressed the hope that the players of the country will also feature their talent at the international competitions.
