Indore, India: A doctor of Indian origin left United Kingdom and packed his career to help and serve his country—India. He came to India to open a hospital and his eight year son was kidnapped and killed on the same day he inaugurated his hospital.

This unfortunate story started when Dr Arvind Rawal and his wife Nikita moved from Britain last year to open their own hospital in India. Dr Rawal, 43, an orthopaedic surgeon and Mrs Rawal, 42, a gynaecologist had dreams to serve their country and left Beverley, East Yorkshire where they were working at Hull Royal Infirmary and Castle Hill Hospital.
They constructed their hospital “Royal Shanti Hospital” in Indore, Madhya Pradesh state, on June 22 where a crowd of about 2,000 participated in inauguration ceremony and they found in the middle of ceremony that their eight year old son is missing and family began searching for Ishan when his brother, Rusheek, told him he was missing.

Mohan Das, who had been working in construction of hospital was spotted leaving the hospital with the schoolboy. He knew Ishan and his brother well.
Mrs Rawal added: ‘He had said he was going to take Ishan for an ice cream on his bike. He had been at the ceremony but then left with Ishan. The police tried calling his phone, but he didn’t answer. When police interrogated, Das denied it at first then he said he took him for a bike ride and left him somewhere.’
Mrs Rawal confirmed Das had been rejected for a job at the hospital three months earlier.
