Here is a list of Public Holidays in the UAE for the year 2023 applicable to both public and private sectors;
  • Gregorian New Year: January 01, 2023
  • Eid Al Fitr: From Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 03* (4 days)
  • Arafah day and Eid Al Adha (Feast of Sacrifice): From Dhu al Hijjah (1444H) 9-12* (4 holidays)
  • Hijri New Year (Islamic New Year): July 21, 2023
  • Prophet Mohammad’s Birthday: September 29, 2023
  • National Day: December 2-3, 2023 (2 holidays).
