However, the UAE’s Federal Authority for Government Human Resources has clarified that no change with regards to the working hours has been made with the beginning of July 2023.

The authority urged the public and social media users to investigate the authenticity of what is published and to verify news and information from the official website and its social media platforms.

The authority affirmed that the executive regulation of the Human Resources Law is specialized in what has been introduced from employment patterns and new types of work such as part-time, temporary work, flexible work, working from the workplace or remote work within and outside the state, hybrid and compressed hours.

It said that the “compressed work” system is one of a kind in a group of work types designed to enhance the flexibility of the government work environment and facilitate achievement.

It further said that the application of the “compressed work” system is subject to specific, clear and exceptional regulations related to the privacy of each federal party and specific jobs.UAE 4 Day Work Week - All you need to know
