As the new month approaches, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is set to announce the prices of petrol and diesel along with other petroleum products on Wednesday for June 2023.
It’s yet to be seen that whether fuel prices in the UAE for the upcoming month are slashed or increased; however, since the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) will meet on June 04 and is expected to announce a cut in oil production; therefore, the fuel prices may witness a further hike as per the analysts.
Last month, the UAE Fuel Price Committee increased the retail prices of petroleum products by over 5% for May 2023.
For May 2023, the retail prices of Super 98, Special 95 and E-Plus 91 were set at Dh3.16, Dh3.05 and Dh2.97 per litre respectively. Whereas the price of diesel was fixed at Dh2.91 per litre.
