ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The President of International Rescue Committee (IRC) David Miliband met the Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad on Thursday.

During the meeting, they discussed the Pakistan-IRC ongoing cooperation in health, education and development areas.IRC President Calls On FM BilawalThe foreign minister appreciated the IRC’s criticial support in aftermath of 2022 floods and continued assistance in support of government’s recovery plans.

David Miliband thanked the foreign minister and the government of Pakistan for their support extended to the International Rescue Committee.

Earlier, the UN Resident and Humanitarian Coordinator in Pakistan Julien Harneis also met the Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari in Islamabad and exchanged views on the Pakistan-UN cooperation including in development and humanitarian domains.

Bilawal Bhutto appreciated the United Nations’ partnership under the UN-Pakistan framework to advance socio-economic development in the Country.
