KARACHI: At least 14 people including a doctor and policeman were killed in various incidents of violence in the city, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Thursday.

A doctor, identified as Dr. Mirza Abid, was killed in a firing incident on Abid Clinic situated in North Nazimabad Block ‘H’, police sources said. While two more persons, including a policeman, were shot dead in Baldia Town.

In another firing incident, two brothers were killed at Hawksbay Road. Last night, an incident of violence occurred in the city area of Ayub Goth where a body with loop around his neck was found.

Police sources said that bodies of three persons were recovered from Garden area of Karachi Zoo and area that is the limit of Napier Police Station.

While a person, who sustained injuries in a firing incident in Timber Market, succumbed to his injuries tonight.  Another man died on the spot when miscreants opened straight fire at his shop located in New Karachi.
