Imran Khan plans bloodshed in the country

MediaImran Khan plans bloodshed in the country

Monitoring Desk: “Imran Khan is planning bloodshed in the country as his last attempt to destabilize the sitting government and thousands of PTI workers have already been sent to suburban areas of the capital city of Islamabad from KPK where they are residing as guests at different places and waiting for the call of Chairman Imran Khan to attack federal capital. Protestors from KPK are gathering in different places including Banigalla, Bara Kahu, villages in Margalla hills, and Rawalpindi”.

This was revealed in a talk show “Ba Khabar” broadcast on state-run television PTV News and anchored by host Madiha Abid Ali on Thursday. Participants of the show included senior journalists Murtaza Solangi, Shanila Amaar, Agha Iqrar Haroon Azam Ch, and Sajjad Anwar. The show is produced by Kamran Siddique.

Answering a question, Agha Iqrar Haroon claimed that Chairman PTI Imran Khan had planned bloodshed in the country and would give the last call to his followers to destabilize the country because his power is more important to him than the state of Pakistan. He added he had already sent thousands of his followers from KPK to surrounding areas of Islamabad residing at different places. He stated that nothing is more important to Imran Khan than his ego and he is bent to destroy everything if he is not in power.

Experts also observed that only the parliament can resolve political issues and sitting out of parliament would be of no use for PTI which is taking another U-turn by seeking court help to revert the Speaker’s decision of accepting the resignations of PTI members of the National Assembly”.

It may be mentioned that the PTI members of the National Assembly tendered en masse resignations from National Assembly when former prime minister Imran Khan was voted out. PTI used every slur against National Assembly and demanded acceptance of the resignations of its members. However, Speaker National Assembly wanted to accept resignations after following rules and procedures and sent notices to members who tendered resignations. After due process, Speaker National Assembly accepted 10 resignations of PTI members and kept waiting for the response of other members to contact the Speaker’s Office for confirmation of tendering their resignations. Now PTI has moved to court seeking court help to revert the Speaker’s decision of accepting the resignations of 10 members of PTI after fulfilling due process.  Participants called PTI “a party of collective U-turn” after its decision to come back again in the National Assembly.

Participants added that Imran Khan was using religion for his political gain and now has called his quest to destabilize the country a “Jihad”. They were of the view that Imran Khan must be reprimanded because he has become a security threat to the country.

Participants expressed their concerns over brutal police action against teachers in Peshawar who were peacefully protesting and demanding the release of their salaries while police charged them with tear gas, water cannon, and even use rubber bullets.
