NationalNHMP briefs bus drivers, passengers about safety protocols

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: As per directions from the Inspector General National Highways and Motorway Police (NHMP) Khalid Mahmood, safety briefings were conducted to passengers regarding emergency exits and safety protocols onboard passenger busses.

The bus drivers and stewards were also briefed about safety requirements.

The passengers were also given an orientation on the rear emergency door and how to open it.

This initiative is a part of NHMP’s ‘#NoMore’ campaign that has seen deployment of technological innovations and a strict enforcement regime.

The NHMP remains committed to serving Pakistan through equal enforcement of the law and improving the safety of commuters on all national highways and motorways.

It has also begun enforcement through a comprehensive PSV tracker system.
