Government of PakistanCoalition govt decides to complete its constitutional term

LAHORE, Pakistan: The coalition government led by Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to complete its constitutional term.

While addressing a news conference after a meeting of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) and its allied parties held in Lahore on Tuesday, the Minister for Railways and PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique said that it is the right of allied parties to complete the tenure in the government.

Khawaja Saad Rafique urged the masses to avoid speculation about the constitutional term of the government.

The railways minister said that recently held by-elections in Punjab were not the real parameter to assess the popularity of any party as PML-N got more votes as compared to 2018 general election.

The minister urged the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to announce the decision of foreign funding case of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) which has been pending since long.

Earlier, the meeting was attended by Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and heads of all the allied parties, in which the overall political situation for the Country was discussed.
