ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Wednesday declared the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) smuggled vehicles amnesty scheme as illegal.

The court ordered the FBR to take the possession of 50, 000 such vehicles throughout the country and arrange to auction them. The FBR earned 16 billion rupees through this scheme.
