KARACHI: At least six people were shot in various incidents of violence in the city overnight, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on Thursday.

According to police officials, a 45-year-old man, identified as Waseem Siddiqui, was killed in Golimar. Two bodies were found in gunny bags from Garden area. They were identified as Mola Bux and Bilal. The bodies were shifted to CHK.

Police said a 27-year-old man identified as Asim was killed in firing in Old Haji camp. His body was shifted to Civil Hospital. Body of an unidentified man was also found from Sohrab Goth area.

Meanwhile, police on a tip off conducted search operation in Clifton Block-9 and arrested three suspects including a police personnel.

On the other hand, three dacoits were killed and a policeman was injured in two police encounters in Moti Mehal, Gulshan-e-Iqbal and Nazimabad area.
