ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan Khazar Farhadov called on Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Sajid Hussain Turi at his Office in Islamabad on Monday.

The focus of the discussion was on strengthening Pakistan-Azerbaijan’s cordial relations and the process of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of labour, employment, and social protection between Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

Expressing satisfaction at the growing cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, the federal minister emphasized the importance of a MoU and enhanced interaction at the leadership level to share their national labour market demand with us.

It is highlighted in the meeting that Pakistan can provide highly skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled migrant workers in a wide range of sectors like engineering, construction, Industry, agriculture, healthcare, hospitality, finance and banking and a contact group of stakeholders will be established to expand cooperation for the labour market.

Pakistan and Azerbaijan enjoy excellent relations rooted deep in shared faith.

The two Countries closely collaborate bilaterally, on issues of mutual interest and labour mobility.
