Islamabad, Pakistan: Large-scale administrative changes have taken place in state-run television Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV).

Mirza Rashid Baig, Controller News to RBT-Turbat is posted Director News PTV-News, and Nadeem Raza is allowed to function as Director Current Affairs. He was hired from the private sector. Aoun Abbas Sahi is allowed to function in Incharge of PTV World. He was also hired from the private sector as a senior producer by former Federal Minister Fawad Ch. in Current Affairs.

The contract of Col (retd) Muhammad Nadeem Niazi GM Security has been canceled along with the contracts of Inam Ul Waheed Project Management Officer, Maj (retd) Omar Ali Khan Manager Security, Tahir Mushtaq Chief Human Resources officer, Irfan Asghar In charge of PTV World, Syed Nasir Abbas Naqvi Chief Technology Officer.

PTV employees are of the view certain contractual employees hired from the market have not been removed, resulting in narrow downing the space for PTV cadre employees.
